This pond was quiet and calm in nearby Florence, CO. It's usually busy with kids fishing or throwing rocks into it. Often I can find images in my "backyard" when I look close enough.

The bizarre is easily found in the Bisti Badlands of New Mexico. This place is called the Egg Hatchery. No markers or paths are out there. Just you & your camera (and a GPS device!)
There's a reason the Crystal Mill is an iconic site. I hired a jeep guide to take me up there. The "road" from Marble to the mill was sketchy, at best.
