We were fortunate to navigate up to Alta ghost town and get this image. Out the window is Mt. Wilson, partially obscured by clouds. My wife did a good job driving our 4Runner through some October snow to reach Alta!

The bizarre is easily found in the Bisti Badlands of New Mexico. This place is called the Egg Hatchery. No markers or paths are out there. Just you & your camera (and a GPS device!)

Central Utah's Skyline Overlook sports an imposing 1000 foot drop off from where i launched the "gnat" (drone) to go down to nab this shot. And, yeah, I was nervous.
